(apologies to those who read the rough edit)

I'm still 16 and still a hopeless romantic...... but in anycase, Ive revised a couple veiws of mine. First, this site doesn't bear home to a whole lotta "art." Art is like putting an Idea on canvas, or paper, or a photograph. It's like taking an emotion and making it visable to the world. Come to find out this is just one big sorry assed comunity looking for a nice pat on the back or a hefty thumbs up, or some group of people to associate themselves with. There are those here who create art, and then put it on DeviantArt, and there are those who make art to put on DeviantArt. I mean, C'mon. Seriously. Trying to be deep or poetic or thoughtful is about the most shallow flippin' thing you can do. You can't decide to have emotions or thoughts, which is why you can't just paint a picture that looks good with no background behind it. Musicians do it all the time anyways. It's called anybody who's making money in the music industry (give or take.) Art definatly isn't the byproduct of trying to fit in or the key to your fame.

Daniel on the Gay situation:

Look, if you are screwed up enough in the head to see the same sex as attractive, there is something wrong with your brain. REALLY. Scientists have proved that homos have a misdeveloped area of their brain. That means there is something wrong with you. That means your desicion making skills are SO screwed up, that you can't pick the right sex to marry. Why should I accept this? Why is anyone accepting it? Apathy maybe? People just don't care if the person next to them is gay or not? How can anyone really care who marries who? But that's like saying "Why take a shower? I'm just going to get dirty again." The principal is having bounderies. If we let 2 men marry, why not 3, and if 3, why not 4, and why should marriage be limited only to those of legal age, and only to human beings, and only to animate objects? If apathy is your problem, then look at it this way. The marriage laws work the way they are, why protest them?

Daniel on Open Mindedness:

Not to long ago, someone told me that people NEED to be open minded. "People can't just refuse to see things other peoples way! That's stupid! That's like being in a room of mouse traps and refusing to turn on the light! You can't be close minded in the 21st century! You HAVE to tolerate people. You HAVE to see things in other peoples light! There should be a law against close mindedness!" I didn't say anything because she's twice my size, but she was about the dumbest person in the room right then. She couldn't even see how close minded she was being about open mindedness. That's an oximoron. You can't say "The only right choice is that there are no wrong choices, and if you choose otherwise, you're wrong." Being open minded means you have to accept peoples choices, and being closed minded is a choice people make, and this means you have to accept the fact that I think gay marriage is retarded. It's a two way street.

Daniel on Judging:

I don't know which punk goth morbid coked out rocker started this, but I've heard it to many times. "Don't judge me." Shut up. You can't tell me that when I say "You're a jackass," it's bad, but when you say "You're a jackass for judging me", it okay. You self rightouse undignified consumer whore. I can't belive you just said that. You know for a fact that people judge on image. It's our nature as humans, but you still choose to dress a certain way, and thats cool...... just as long as no one is drawing negative conclusions about you, because then it becomes judging. You know that your true image doesn't quite represent you all that well and you know people will judge you based on what they see, so you change it to fit your needs because you don't want people judging you like that, you would rather have them judge you like this. Don't ever feed me that bull. Besides, I already know you're a self rightouse undignified consumer whore. And a jackass.

I'm not even gonna touch that one. Let me just say that it used to be that the less control the government had, the better off the people were.
